Enslaved to this hunger
Obsessed with consumption of another
Bound by this infernal yearning
Resist though I try
How I long to masticate human flesh
Cannibal urge bubbling 'neath this gaunt facade
Begin pursuit
Your death draws near
A creature spawned of the darkness you fear
Surely the will of the beast assumes control
Cursed so some may say
Deep in my psyche the wendigo lay
Eternally torn 'tween beast and man
I'm forever living and forever damned
I must be free
To feed upon flesh
“Listen, I'm sorry it had to be you but I have this thing in me that really digs your scent. It's complicated, but basically you're looking really fucking tasty. Well see there's nothing much I can do about it and quite frankly neither can you. No need to scream. This will all be over quickly, I promise.”
My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction
I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive
A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
Serious aficionado level Prog/Tech Death.
The unique colors they bring to this record are not really heard elsewhere. They have forged their own sound and it’s totally badass. I guess The Faceless could be mentioned for reference of similar styles/tones.
They care for the song craft as much as the tasty Tech and Leads. It really is like everyone is saying....a perfect Metal experience. Salami Dick Death
