Your crutch has become a burden
Your sail has become an anchor
This pasttime has become a dark possession
Your last moments paralyzed by fear
It's only a matter of time
The final comedown
The devil has found you
Right where you rest your head
And now you are lost with nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
No second chance as you drift away
Crushed, entombed
This room is but a casket
This divinely inspired death will be yours alone
And from the depths, the beast shall rise
We ride on the backs of the fallen
We are the end
It's only a matter of time
In this final hour is the dying of the light
Beckoned in by the siren's song
This is Death's Design
From the depths ride forth the horsemen
We shall rise

A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
